Free Deals for You

It's my birthday this month and to celebrate I am giving one lucky reader a free $25 gift card to Amazon.com. The contest begins on August 1, 2009 and ends on August 31, 2009 (midnight mst).

There are Multiple Ways To Enter the Contest:

1-Leave a comment on this post about this giveaway - vulgar, rude or otherwise inappropriate comments and spam will be deleted and will not count. One comment about the contest on this post gets you ONE entry. Comments anywhere else are greatly appreciated, but will not count for this contest.

2-Subscribe to Free Deals for You (options in sidebar) and then let me know by contacting me via the CONTACT LINK below or by telling me in comment on this post. Subscription with notification gets you ONE entry. (If you are already a subscriber, you can count that - just let me know).

3- Tweet links to this blog (the blog itself or individual freebies posts), then let me know here or in a comment on this post. Just don't get either of us in trouble by spamming everyone on Twitter! You can tweet for each post I make each day, so typically you can have up to 6 tweets a day count. They can all be just to the blog or you can tweet links to freebies or you can just RT my Free Deals for You tweets on twitter. Whatever you do, you must let me know via comments below or via the contact link each time. TIP: Use tinyurl or any other url-shortening service to use less characters on twitter. 4-Become a Facebook Fan, then be sure to let me know. Already a fan? That counts - just let me know! This gets you one entry.

5-Referrals - Refer a friend. They subscribe to the blog or become a fan on Facebook and you get an entry (one entry for each - just let me know each time). Example: If you refer a friend who subscribes and becomes a FB fan, if you both let me know, you BOTH get TWO entries - You get one for your referral subscribing and one for them becoming a FB fan. They get one for subscribing and one for becoming a FB fan. However, they do not have to participate in the contest in order for you to get credit for them joining and/or becoming a fan.

6- Come up with a creative, legal and non-annoying way to spread the word about the blog and/or Facebook page and let me know. If I like it and you are the first one to come up with it, I will give you 10 (yes, TEN) entries into the contest. For this to be accepted, it must be something YOU do - you can't just slam me with a bunch of suggestions of things for ME to do. ;-)

The Rules:

Except for comments on this post, anything else you do will only be counted as an entry if you contact me about it. You can do this via my contact link (below and in the sidebar) or by commenting about it below, on this post. This is the only way I can accurately keep track of all the entries from everyone. You can let me know about your entries all in one comment/contact, or with each entry. Its up to you – just be sure to get all your entries accounted for before the deadline. While you can get credit for your referrals, for them to get credit for themselves, they must enter themselves.

You must use a valid email address with your comment (not in the comment itself but in the box for email with your comment) or contact to me so if you win you can be notified.

If the winner does not respond within 48 hours of notification, a new winner will be selected. The winning entry will be selected via random.org.

The gift card will be sent via email once the winner has responded to the winning notice. The notification email will come from a "freedealsforyou" gmail account - so be sure to check your junk mail.

Please note when spreading the word that I really want the focus to be on the freebies, blog and FB page, not the contest. The contest is my gift and thanks to those who read, subscribe, refer, etc. I'd rather see someone win who uses the freebies here or helps spread the word to those who do, than someone who just did something to win and then will be gone. That would make it feel a bit unfair to those who are my real support. That being said, all legit entries will be submitted to random.org.
